The Family Coach (similar to CBRS) provides in-home services for parents utilizing the HF Family Program, an intensive in-home program designed by Healthy Foundations®. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the parent(s) in following the plan and in helping the youth to adhere to the structure set up in the home by the parents and the support team.
Because at Healthy Foundations®, we believe that if every parent with a challenging child had brain-based skills and coaching support, they can positively influence their family for generations.
typically provides support for a family after the initial 30 days (and up until about 90 days)
be willing to follow the HF Family Program® plan and the structure set up by the parents and the lead counselor
participate actively with the family as they follow the schedule, participate in sensory activities, chores, social language practice, and other activities as instructed by the lead counselor
come up with additional activities and ideas to help meet the goals in the family (games, activities, etc.)
participate in weekly staffings with the lead counselor who oversees the program with each family
Qualifications & Requirements:
a master’s or bachelor’s level in psychology, counseling or human service field
experience in working with youth and/or families
able to drive all over the Treasure Valley to the families' homes
provide agreed upon hours per week in the home depending on the contract and needs of the family being serviced
This is a part-time position (approximately 10 hours a week) that may turn into full-time (includes some evenings and Saturday work)
Pay for Parent Coach or CBRS:
Bachelor's level: $20/hr.
Master's level: $20/hr. to start; $25/hr. after 90 days
